Edgewood Police: Bios
Officer Gary Linn - Officer Gary Linn is a graduate of Ludlow High School. After high school, he worked for the Kenton County Police Department as a Dispatcher. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he completed two Mediterranean tours as a third class gunner's mate.

After returning home, he continued with Kenton County Police Department. In 1972, Officer Linn joined the Covington Police Department where he worked 15 years in Evidence Collection. He completed his degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Kentucky University. Officer Linn completed the Dale Carnegie and received the Highest Award of Achievement. Throughout his career, he has also served as Sergeant of Third Shift Patrol, Dispatch, and Community Relations. Officer Linn has also worked as a SWAT Team Negotiator. He also worked as a Sergeant of Patrol at Dayton Police Department.

In 2004, Officer Linn went back to work for Kenton County Police Department as a School Resource Officer for two elementary schools. In 2008, Officer Linn joined the Edgewood Police Department as a School Resource Officer for Dixie Heights High School. This is his eighth year in this position.
