Edgewood Police: Bios
Detective James Ryan Detective James Ryan started with the Edgewood Police Department in 1995. He started his law enforcement career with the Fort Mitchell Police Department in 1983, moving to the Lakeside Park / Crestview Hills Police Authority in 1988.

Detective Ryan attended the University Of Cincinnati where he received an associate degree in Criminal Justice Technology. Other specialized training received includes investigative and evidence technology courses through DOCJT (Department Of Criminal Justice Training). He also has attended courses instructed by FBI personnel in fingerprint classification / identification and attended Sirchie's Crime Scene Technology course in Youngsville, North Carolina.
